One layer of cozy, soft Polar Fleece. Coat closes with Velcro on a belly band. Attached snood has a 2.5 inch opening to accommodate leash hook up, and a light-reflecting drawcord with strong toggles to snug up the snood around your Hound's face. Snood can also be worn 'down' like a turtle neck. This is a good coat for early Spring, late Fall, or 'Southern state-type' Winters. NOw, you have the option of 'NO SNOOD,' if you wish. You'll make the choice when you order. The coat with 'NO SNOOD' will have a neck that is 'finished' with the same bias tape as the edges of the coat.
